Create Your Own Variegated Colorway
Create Your Own Variegated Colorway
Have an idea that's been dancing around in your imagination? Send it to the Fiber Witch, and she'll see what magic she can brew.
Choose up to four colors from the color list linked here, then hand your selections over to the cauldron. The Fiber Witch will carefully blend your chosen colors into a one-of-a-kind variegated skein created just for you.
No two brews are ever exactly alike. Every skein develops its own personality as the colors mingle, separate, soften, and surprise. Some combinations create gentle watercolor transitions, while others bubble into bold splashes of color. Half the magic is discovering how your enchantment unfolds.
How Your Enchantment Works
✨ Choose how many of these magical skeins you want.
✨ Choose your yarn base.
✨ Select up to four colors from the color list linked here. If you don't want to choose four colors, just leave whatever color slots you want empty. When entering your colors, just choose the number. For example, '449 Vanilla Cream' would be entered as 449.
✨ Choose your intensity:
| Option | What the Fiber Witch does |
|---|---|
| 🌫️ Soft | Light washes of your chosen colors. Airy and delicate. |
| 🌿 Balanced | Distinct color changes without feeling busy. |
| 🔥 Bold | Rich saturation. |
| 🌈 Wild | Maximum color! Heavy layering, more speckles, dramatic transitions, and lots of visual movement. |
✨ The Fiber Witch takes your ingredients and begins brewing your custom colorway.
✨ Your finished skein is dyed, dried, and sent on its journey to you.
A Few Magical Notes
- Every custom colorway is hand dyed from scratch.
- Your skein's results will not be revealed until you open your package.
- Your chosen colors are interpreted artistically rather than placed in exact percentages or locations.
- Exact recreations of inspiration photos, commercial colorways, or previously dyed skeins are not possible.
- Because each skein is brewed especially for you, all custom colorways are final sale.
Whether you choose just two colors for a quiet, subtle enchantment or four for a delightfully chaotic potion, you'll receive a skein that's completely unique and can never be recreated exactly the same way again.

Care Instructions
Non-superwash wool must always be hand washed in cool water with a mild wool wash and laid flat to dry. Do not machine wash, as it will felt and shrink with heat or agitation.
Superwash yarns can be hand washed in cool water for the best longevity, but they may also be machine washed on a gentle cycle inside a garment bag. Always lay flat to dry.
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and high heat, as these can damage the fibers.
Blend-Specific Notes
Sock yarns with nylon (such as Snowdrift Select Sock) are more durable and tolerate gentle machine washing, though hand washing will still extend the life of your project.
Glitter yarns with Stellina (such as Gold Glitter and Silver Glitter) should be handled gently; avoid wringing or twisting to protect the sparkle filament.
Bulky yarns (such as Salcantay Bulky) are heavier when wet and should be fully supported while drying flat to prevent stretching.
Hand-Dyed Yarn Notes
Hand-Dyed Yarn Notes
Colors may be slightly different than actual product as computer and device monitor settings can alter the color appearance. We do our best to ensure that the yarns appear as they do in real life.
Our yarns are hand-dyed in small batches, so slight variations may occur between skeins. For larger projects, we recommend alternating skeins every few rows to blend color shifts.
While every effort is made to set dye thoroughly, some color transfer may occur on the first wash, especially with highly saturated shades. Wash separately the first time.
Yarn is dyed in limited lots, and colors may vary slightly from batch to batch. Please be sure to purchase enough for your project at once.
Large orders placed together will be dyed in the same session to ensure the closest possible match.
