We All Love to Doodle - Intermediate Knitting Class

Express your creativity and fall in love with colorwork! Join us on Monday, January 8, 2025, from 1 to 3 PM for an intermediate-level class where we’ll create custom colorwork projects using Jamie Lomax’s Valentine’s Doodle Deck by Pacific Knit Co.

What You’ll Learn:

• Reading and designing with simple colorwork charts
• Choosing and arranging motifs for your unique project
• Techniques for holding yarn in colorwork
• Catching longer floats for a polished finish

Jamie’s Valentine’s Doodle Deck features interchangeable charts with matching stitch counts, making it easy to mix, match, and design your own creation.

Materials Needed:

• A Valentine’s Doodle Deck - Click here to purchase the deck from Pacific Knit Co.
• DK weight yarn in assorted colors and a neutral background (A doodle yarn kit will be available for purchase at the shop so come early to select your colors)
• Size 4 and 5 circular needles
• Stitch markers

Skill Level:

Intermediate. Participants should be comfortable with:

• Knit and purl stitches
• Knitting in the round
• Using stitch markers
• Reading simple charts
