This is a dyed-to-order listing. Your skeins will be dyed when you order them and can take up to a week to process.

Create your perfect yarn with a custom dye session at Mountaintop Yarn. Whether you’re inspired by a breathtaking landscape, a favorite color palette, or a cherished memory, I will bring your vision to life in stunning hand-dyed yarn.

How It Works:

1. Purchase this custom dye session.
2. Send your inspiration photos to hello@mountaintopyarn.com. Please choose photos that capture the colors you want in your yarn – not images of yarn from other dyers.
3. I will hand-dye your yarn using my artistic interpretation of your inspiration. This means that while I will do my best to capture the colors you love, exact results cannot be guaranteed.

Timeline:
Custom dye sessions typically take around 2 weeks to complete but may be faster depending on current dye orders.

Please Note: Custom dye sessions are non-refundable, as each order is dyed specifically for you.

Each listing is for a single skein of yarn that has been hand-dyed in small batches. Despite efforts to maintain consistency, variations are inevitable due to the manual dyeing process. Variegated skeins, labeled as OOAK (one of a kind), exhibit unique color patterns, though they originate from the same dye batch. It's advisable to alternate rows when incorporating multiple skeins into a project.

The yarn undergoes dyeing with professional acid dyes and is washed post-dyeing, though slight bleeding may occur during the initial wash.
