Reclaimed Cream Acrylic Worsted
This is reclaimed yarn salvaged from a scarf acquired at the Goodwill. The yarn is composed of three strands of lace weight “mohair” acrylic yarn in a cream color. This gives the yarn a weight somewhere between a worsted and bulky.
There is a lovely halo on the yarn that would be beautiful if knit or crocheted with a larger than suggested needle or hook.
The yarn is soft and airy. It may present a little kinky due to the nature of reclaimed yarn, but will knit up beautifully and result in a lovely finished item.
Because this yarn is acrylic, it can be machine washed and dried.
Yardage is roughly 270 yards.
The adventurous fiber artist could potentially separate the three strands to create around 900 yards of acrylic lace weight “mohair” yarn, but I chose not to because I have neither the time nor patience to do so.
