It is finally Spring and the warm sunshine is back! To invite Spring into my home, I decided to work up some cute sunshine themed rimmed coasters to place generously around my house.
If you would like to bring some sunshine into your house too, jump right in and lets get started.
For this project you will need the following items:
- Fingering weight cotton yarn in yellow (or your color of choice)
- 4.00mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle to weave in ends

The Pattern:
Start with a magic ring / magic loop.
Ch3 (counts as first DC), 11 DC in ring. Slip stitch to 3rd chain of beginning ch3 (12 DC)
Standing DC in same slst space, ch1. [DC, ch1] in each DC around. Slst to standing DC.
Start with a half completed standing DC (you should have two loops on the hook). This will be the starting point for your 4 DC together across the [DC, ch, DC] stitches. Place two of the DC stitches inside the ch space and your last DC into the DC from the previous row. Finish off the 4 DCTOG and ch 3. Start the next 4 DCTOG in the last stitch of the previous 4 DCTOG. If you are confused, check out the video tutorial. Repeat this around and end on the ch3. Slst to the first 4 DCTOG.
Ch 1, SC in same space, [3 sc in ch 3 space, sc in 4 DCTOG]* rep around to the end omitting the last sc and slst in the front loop only to the first sc.
Ch3, Front Post Treble Crochet in each SC around. Do not slip stitch at the end.
Place a folding sc in each FPTC of the round. If you are unsure on how to do a folding sc, check the video as I show you how to do this there. Slip stitch to the first folding sc of the round.
Break yarn. Weave in ends.
Make as many as your heart desires!!!
