Common Questions

I do! I am located at 101 Commerce Place West, Suite C, Okatie, South Carolina 29909. I am right next to the post office/laundromat.

Send an email with your existing order number and include the items and quantity that you want added to your order. I will add them to your existing order and send an invoice to the email on file. Once the invoice is paid, your order will begin processing so be on the lookout for that invoice.

I have used my fingering, DK and worsted weight yarns on my Sentro knitting machine with no issues. As a matter of fact, that is typically how I make my swatches.

Dyeing yarn for me is an artistic expression. With that being said, the colorways I release are released in limited quantities on limited bases. Every once in a while I will bring a certain colorway back, but it is rare. Therefore, if you see one of my hand-dyes that you like, it's important to purchase as many as you need for your project.

If you missed a colorway, you can always request a custom dye session here: https://mountaintopyarn.com/products/custom-dye-session

I frequently receive emails from customers stating they haven’t received their digital downloads, only to check the order and see that the file has been successfully received and downloaded multiple times—often to an iPhone or iPad.

The issue isn’t with the download itself but with understanding how to access files on your device. Downloading files on an iPhone or iPad can be tricky if you're unfamiliar with the process, so I’ve provided step-by-step instructions to help you locate your file and those instructions are located in the download link email you receive after purchase.

To find your pattern follow these steps:

On your iPhone or iPad, the easiest way to find it is:

  1. Go to your Home Screen.
  2. Swipe down to bring up the search bar.
  3. Type in the name of the pattern.
  4. Tap the file when it appears — it should open right up for you!

While troubleshooting personal devices isn’t part of my role, I want to ensure you can access your pattern, which is why I’ve put together those helpful steps.

Going forward, I will no longer be responding to emails regarding digital downloads. The purchase and download process has been thoroughly tested and functions flawlessly.

I have also provided instructions for this process in the online chat, the download email sent after purchase, and in this FAQ section. There should be no reason I have to personally email these instructions.

Thank you for understanding!

If your order contains dyed-to-order yarn, it will take at least a week to process. Sometimes it might take longer depending on volume of orders, size of your order, or historical weather events impacting either my area or your area.

I do everything in my power to ship dyed to order yarns as fast as possible.

If your order does not contain dyed to order yarn, it will ship the same day if placed during business hours. If it is placed after business hours, it will ship the next time we are open.
